The Alabama Department of Revenue was looking to expand its recruitment efforts in 2018 by introducing an accounting and business internship program. ADOR brought CAPS on board to help develop the recruiting strategies, website updates, marketing materials, and social media plans.

The goals of this program were to:

  1. Source new accounting and business candidates from colleges and universities in the state
  2. Provide hands-on tax auditing experience for the interns
  3. Retain interns in permanent positions within ADOR upon graduation

We reached and exceeded our target with the number of interns recruited and retained within ADOR’s divisions.
