The Alabama Department of Revenue was looking to expand its recruitment efforts in 2018 with the introduction of an accounting and business internship program. CAPS was brought on board to help with the development of the recruiting strategies, website updates, marketing materials, and social media plans.

The goals of this program were to:

  1. Source new accounting and business candidates from colleges and universities in the state
  2. Provide hands-on tax auditing experience for the interns
  3. Retain interns in permanent positions within ADOR upon graduation

We reached and exceeded our target with the number of interns recruited and retained within ADOR’s divisions.
